We've grown used to an hour counting for what someone will pay for it — not for what it means. That habit runs so deep it feels like a law of nature. But it isn't one. It's a decision a society made. And one that can be made differently.
We want a community where the time you give someone counts just as much as the time you're paid for. Where belonging doesn't start with money, but with the willingness to contribute. One that's strong because it rests on many shoulders instead of a few.
That's what we're building h_OURs for.

h_OURs is an app for iOS and Android — a desktop version is on the way.

You can do something others are missing — and others can do what you need. You offer your time and get time back: you fix a bike, someone teaches you Spanish in return. Every hour you give is an hour you can use again.
Organize
From a shared tool to a neighbourhood party: this is where you coordinate what you take on together. Who's doing what, what's available right now, what's coming up — inventory, tasks and dates in one place instead of scattered across twenty chat groups.
Connect
Sharing time isn't something you do alone. h_OURs brings you together with people close by — neighbours, local initiatives and businesses that share the same idea. Little by little, individual acts of help grow into a community.

Spent years on the board of cultural and community organizations: juggling events, volunteers and tight budgets showed him what people actually need day to day. At home between two coasts — the Baltic Sea and Atlantic Canada. Two worlds, one principle: those who help get helped. h_OURs grew out of that conviction.

Master of Law and doctoral candidate in law. He is responsible for the legal foundations of h_OURs and supports the management in day-to-day operations. So that what we build not only works, but stands on solid ground.

Bachelor in Software Engineering and over six years in professional software development. For the past two years he and Hannes have formed a well-practised developer duo putting h_OURs on solid technical footing. What looks good up front runs reliably behind the scenes — Márk makes sure of that.

IT specialist with over six years of experience in front-end and back-end development. As co-developer of the Karls app he worked on one of Germany's most widely used theme park apps. At h_OURs he makes sure technology feels good — intuitive, fast and made for people.

Business administrator with over 30 years of experience in accounting, tax and HR administration. She makes sure the numbers add up at h_OURs and the structures hold. Anyone building a project to last needs someone who keeps the overview — and doesn't lose it.
